Need2Read Meme

I don't know if this counts as starting a meme or not.  I'm going to start regularly posting a list of books I need to get my hands on, and I'm gonna stick this logo with it:

And you guys are welcome to stick that logo on your blog and post your own list of books under the title "Need2Read".  If you leave a link to your Need2Read blog post in the comments, and I will check it out and leave you a comment in return!  (Make sure you link back to http://www.caylakluver.com/ when using this logo.)  Thanks!

Without further ado, here's my current list of books I absolutely Need2Read:

1. The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison

Here's something that will shock you all:  I haven't actually read anything by Toni Morrison yet.  That's why I absolutely have to get my hands on this one.

2. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

You all have the right to be disgusted with me.  No, I haven't read The Hunger Games yet.  I'm disgusted with me.  That's why it's on my Need2Read list!

3. The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting

This book sounds fascinating.  I love the concept and I LOVE that cover.  Anybody read it?

4. Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen

Again, I am so far behind.  I haven't read anything by Sarah Dessen, but I've heard she's amazing.  Is Lock and Key a good place to start?

5. The Mysteries of Udolpho by Ann Radcliffe

This is a Cayla guilty-pleasure-that-I-don't-feel-guilty-about.  I heard about this book (written in 1794) through this post on Classic Lit Geek.  It sounds just delightful and spooky.

So those are my Need2Reads for now.  What are yours?  Grab that logo, post away, and leave a link in the comments so I and others can check it out.

Keep talking books y'all.

Cayla

That's a great idea! I'm always interested in what other people are reading.

As to the books, defiantly read The Hunger Games. Sarah Dessen is okay, but she sort of writes the same story over and over. I enjoyed Along For The Ride, though. Insomniacs are cool.

Oooh, I also started reading Sarah Dessen by reading "Lock and Key" However, I would personally recommend "Just Listen" or "Along for the Ride" to begin with, personally, because I thought the main character was much more likeable. :D
The Hunger Games was amazing, but be prepared for a let down on the sequels, they're not nearly as good as the first one. Many book series' are like that...
But don't worry, I know your's won't be!!! :D
This is a super great idea!

Two votes for "Along for the Ride" - I may in fact have to start with that one. And <3 to you Chloe for giving me a good laugh with the end of your post -- I do hope my sequels pass the test!!

I would start with "Along for the Ride" by Sarah D. "Lock and Key" is great but very heavy. The neat thing about her books is that you see different characters in different books. Like a couple who got together in a previous book might show up for a nano second at a cafe.

I love the way I spelled "Definitely" lol. Predictive text will be the death of me.

I love THE LAST SONG - Nicholas Sparks (the film is OK but the book is just breathtaking)
Also, books from JR TOLKIEN The lord of the rings trilogy, and many others he'd written. The HARRY POTTER books are also amazing. Christopher Paolina had written ERAGON, ELDEST and BRISINGR and he's on his way of writting the 4th and last book , a very nice saga.
And of course, LEGACY is an enjoyable book for anyone who's expecting adventure and romance.
Reading is cool ! ;D
