Despite a Terrible Week...

I'm back! And I actually have good news (despite said terrible week that has kept me from my blogosphere and Facebook page duties).

First, the winners of the laptop raffle have been notified -- congratulations to Victoria and her laptop Charles; Sarah and triSarahtops; and Jenna and Ronaldo! :) Thank you SO much to everyone who entered, and I promise there will be other contests coming up with more fun stuff to win.

Second, HERE'S THE BIG NEWS. Though being with AmazonEncore has been a great experience, and their team is made up of many wonderful, talented people, recently it became clear that it would be in the best interest of the Legacy Series to go in another direction. Thus, I am honored to now have joined forces with Harlequin Teen, who will rerelease Legacy in 2011, and the remaining books in the trilogy at intervals thereafter. For those of you who have been waiting so patiently for Allegiance since the Encore release of Legacy (some of you have even been waiting since the self-published release of Legacy), this may seem disappointing, but I promise this is absolutely the best place for me and the books to be. Shout out to Natashya Wilson and everyone else at HQ Teen for giving me this opportunity! Also thanks so much to my agent, Kevan Lyon, for once again reaching above and beyond expectations.

Moving on, I've got some awesome fan art to share, courtesy of Marissa over at the Facebook fan page. Check out her entire portfolio here: Rissi-Chan's Gallery.

That's about all I think... thanks so much for dropping in! I really feel like I'm forgetting to put something in this post... ah well, just means I'll be back soon. ;)

Loves!
Cayla

My sisters are going to die! I received a copy of your book to review and they stole it from me shortly afterwards and, at least, once a month since they've asked me if you've released the next one yet LOL

Hey, did you get a new computer yet? We want to know what you named it!

Oh no! I've been waiting, what feels like forever for the next book to come out. I just finished reading Legacy again, for the third time. So many questions. Like how will Splendor react to the princess being kidnapped. Who did the kidnapping? And who's point of view are we going to be reading it from. Does the book start before or after she's been kidnapped. Aaahhhhhhh. Too many questions in my head at the moment. I look forward to reading the next in the series! Oh and if you like, I'm a fan on face book, you could always send the answers above to me there. Wink. Wink. Nudge. Nudge. LOL!

So...does that mean that the next two won't be available on the KIndle?

Hi Cayla!

HQN Teen is definitely a score, I review a lot for Harlequin, so maybe I'll do a re-review of Legacy and score the next two when they come out. I'll be waiting patiently.

Hi Cayla, I don't know if you've seen the cover of the German edition yet:

The German title is "Alera - Geliebter Feind" (Alera - Beloved Enemy)
