Book 3 in Greece; Legacy is a Pop Paperback of 2012!

Hi everybody!

First off, as I posted on Facebook a few days ago, book 3 of the Legacy Series has officially been sold to my Greek publisher.  I don't have a release date yet, but this means that book 3 will definitely be reaching my Greek readers, and I couldn't be happier! :)

Second... da da da da!  Legacy has been listed as one of the Young Adult Library Services Association's Popular Paperbacks of 2012!  This is huge news, and its all thanks to you wonderful readers who have been buying, reading, and sharing the book with your friends.  Check out the entire list here (Legacy is under the category "Forbidden Romance"):

Just a reminder:  Allegiance will be coming out here in the USA on February 28, 2012, which is now less than a month away.  I will be doing a blog tour, courtesy of Kismet Blog Tours, and details are forthcoming.  I do want to let you all know about a very special event coming up at the end of March.

On March 24th at 5pm I will be at the Bowers Writers House in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania to do a joint reading with Pam Chillemi-Yeager.  Copies of Allegiance will be available to purchase, and I will be signing books and answering questions.  Please please please stop on by!  Seating is limited, so it's first-come first-serve.  There is no entry fee.  The address and phone number for the Bowers Writers House can be found here:

I hope to see you there, and I'll be posting reminders of the event as it approaches.

Hope everyone's new year is off to a wonderful start!

You Could Win a Copy of ALLEGIANCE

Hi all!  I'm done with my first semester of college and I'm home at last for Christmas break.  To commemorate this bit of awesomeness, I have news that is even more awesome.

I was invited by Asher of Paranormal Indulgence to participate in Dog-Eared & Bookmarked's 25 Days of Jubilation event.  This Friday (the 23rd), Steldor will compete with other young adult heroes/anti-heroes to be transferred from Santa's naughty list to his nice list.  Only one character will succeed, and its up to readers who that character will be.

If Steldor wins, his supporters will be entered into a pool to win a free copy of Legacy, and an advance copy of Allegiance!

Obviously, I would love for Steldor to have a shot at getting something other than coal in his stocking this year.  But more importantly, I would LOVE for one of you to receive an advance copy of Allegiance!

Watch for the link on my Twitter and Facebook on Friday the 23rd, and let's get out the vote! :)

Out in the Silence GIVEAWAY (Please Read Instructions)

I'm baaaaaack!!!!!!!

And I have exciting news for you all.  Tonight I was privileged enough to attend a screening of Out in the Silence, an award-winning documentary about a gay teenager in small town Pennsylvania.  The filmmakers, Joe Wilson and Dean Hamer, began their journey when they published their marriage announcement in the local paper of Joe's home town.  Shortly thereafter, the hate mail started pouring in, followed by an unexpected cry for help from a mother whose son was being "tortured" at school because of his sexual orientation.

The film follows Joe's investigation and his efforts to help this boy, while revealing the damage bigotry is doing to everyone in our communities.

I encourage you to check out the film's official website, www.outinthesilence.com, and BUY THE DVD.  It represents an amazing feat in filmmaking, as well as in the fight for human rights.

Now for the really great news.  Joe Wilson was present at the screening, and I talked to him afterward (and bought my own copy of the movie!).  He was kind enough to supply me with three SIGNED Out in the Silence postcards (pictured below), which I am going to give away here on the blog!

INSTRUCTIONS:
To enter the postcard giveaway contest, comment on this post.  Please ONLY COMMENT ONCE.  You will not be entered into the giveaway multiple times if you leave multiple comments.  Please note that this contest is open only to residents of the United States (I only have so many stamps!).

Thank you so much, and once again, I do encourage you to check out the film, watch it with your friends, share it with your enemies, and over all, enjoy!

(P.S. Spread the word about the contest too!)
